
Holy Thursday is April 17th The Mass of the Lord’s Supper, when Jesus gave us TWO Sacraments, the Holy Eucharist and Holy Orders, is at 5:00 p.m. At the conclusion of this liturgy we move to the altar of repose for silent visitation until 8:00 p.m. Will you watch one hour with Jesus in the Garden as he prepares for what He is about to undergo on Good Friday?
Good Friday is April 18 Services are from Noon until 3:00 p.m. and include the Gospel Passion of Jesus Christ, Stations of the Cross, Veneration of the Wood of the Cross. On Good Friday evening at 7 pm we will gather in the Christ the King chapel, in front of the Altar of Repose and the beautiful painting of the Divine Mercy of Jesus Christ to begin the nine day Divine Mercy Novena. The novena will continue every evening through Saturday, April 19, the eve of Divine Mercy Sunday.
Holy Saturday is April 19 The tradition of the Blessing of the Baskets will be at 11:00 a.m. The beautiful and richly symbolic Holy Saturday Easter Vigil is at 6:00 p.m. This night we welcome new members to the church here at St. Barbara and in churches all over the world. We bless the new Paschal candle and the light from that candle is in turn passed to each one of us to renew our commitment to be the Light of Christ to everyone we meet.
Easter Sunday is April 20 Christ is Risen! Let’s celebrate with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at offered at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

DIVINE MERCY NOVENA AND MASS
We will continue our tradition of praying the Divine Mercy Novena beginning Good Friday evening and continuing for nine days at 7pm. Mass on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 27, is at 3pm and includes the Sacrament of Anointing
FIRST FRIDAY DEVOTION begin with a Holy Hour beginning at 5:00 pm until the time of Benediction and the start of Holy Mass at 6:00 pm. During the hour of silent visitation we invite you to participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. “No Fear” Confessions are from 5 pm to 5:45 pm.
350 years ago Jesus appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque and gave her specific instructions for establishing devotion to His Most Sacred Heart on the first Friday of every month. Come and honor His Most Sacred Heart this Friday.
